Hello Dear Friends, :cheer:.
2day has been a very interesting day for my boyfriend Thomas & I.Earler  2day,I had an ultrasound done to my fistula(on my right arm).We were able to see my surgeon for the results.He is going to be able to REPAIR my fistula :).It will be minor saurgery on my right arm.I'll be having the surgery on the 27th of this month.He told us it should take 2 weeks for the new area on my fistula to heal.Then I will be able to use my right arm(fistula) once more.I went out & bought some new clothes as a way to celebrate ;).Thomas say I should get some bubble bath stuff to have.Cause after I get my neck catheter out.I will be able to soak on the bathtub once more :yahoo; :yahoo; :yahoo;. Maybe I should a play while some of my favoirte music while I'm soaking in the tub.Thanks for being here when I need the help.

You should have bubbles and music and candlelight and fluffy towels!  Counting the days until that catheter is out...

Bubbles are great!  I remember I couldn't wait for a long shower once I lost the neck cath. came out.

~ Hello All, My names Marna ~

- 1995 - 12 yrs old found out my kidneys were both failing
- 1996 - Dec. 3 I received my 1st kidney transplant at age 13, after 7/mths on the waiting list
- 2005 - In Aug. transplant failed after 9.5 years, had to have a nephrectomy due to being very ill & massive hypertension
           - End of Aug. 1st time on dialysis
- 2006 - Had my fistula placed & ready to go
- 2010 - My little Miracle was born 6/mths into the pregnancy, weighing 2.4 lbs & 13.25 in long
          - Found out my PRA is 100% & I have antibodies that CAN'T be decreased
- 2013 - Oct. 2nd  *** I finally received my kidney!!! ***
          - Dec. 3rd I had 3.5 parathyroids removed, due to them interfering w/my new kidney.
