May be a silly question but is it possible to dialyze too much?  Not like taking too much off dring a treatment but just too many treatments per week?

There really isn't a simple answer to that question.  It primarily depends on type of dialysis.  If you are using PD, I have been told that there is not such thing as too much, so long as you use the right strength dialysate.  However, I have been told that it is possible to dialyze too often with HD.  It has to do with damaging the blood cells, and your body's ability to replace them.
