Hi Epoman
I have laughed thru most of your training journal, (it brought back memories of our training)  just how HUGH is that NxStage manual after 3 weeks?.  So happy you will be home soon, be careful and good luck to you and your family.  I hope you keep the journal up at least weekly
BTW - can you add NxStage to the dictionary

I find it really great that we have someone else with NxStage experience.  Please tell us all about it, from your perspective.

According to the nurse I talked to Friday, the NXstage training through Kaiser has a year long wait list now. I am thinking of changing over to a Kaiser run facility to get to the training list and try for Nx stage.

I understand Kaiser is  training as many as possible - as you can see by Epoman it is min of 3 week 5 days to train.  Maybe a different Kaiser facility will get you in quicker?  I haven't hear how many facilities are training

Actually I will be fully trained in under 3 weeks. 14 business days.  :) But waiting list mean JACK! you need to fight to get higher on the list, I did!

My wife and I work as a team. I set up the machine - she sets up the needles etc. As I need the stuff she hands it to me.

I prefer the pureflow because I don't have to hang the bags - I get three treatments from the pureflow. We usually set up the saline bag and the stuff we'll need the night before -once you get a routine it moves quick......... :2thumbsup;
