No Matter What Happens..God Is Always With Me

« on: July 04, 2012, 06:07:00 AM »

Hello All!
Just wanted to update you all that on June 26th, the 6-way paired exchange Transplant procedure was a huge success!!!
I came home on Saturday..CREATINE YESTERDAY IS 0.98!!!! Whoooooa!! When we left the hospital, all 3 recipients and all 3 donors were doing great!

Our Transplant Team is coordinating a meeting for all of us in a few weeks and I absolutely can't wait!
I am still dazed & shocked beyond words at how much better I already feel only one week out.  The incision is sore, yeah, but, I can live with that!
I'm also still adjusting to not getting 'hooked up' at night on the PD.  I was only on for a year but it very quickly becomes a part of your life!
Everything has gone so well, in fact, I'm actually kind of scared to allow myself to get too excited! LOL!
I will continue to keep all posted!
Lots of love and a huge thanks for all the support here!!

Congrats.      :clap;

I'm in the paired exchange program too, but in Canada.

They couldn't find a match for me for the first  matching run in June. So now I have to wait til October.        :'(

I guess I'm gonna be a tough match          ???

These donor exchange chains are absolutely amazing!  You're a part of history now, so congratulations!  I'm thrilled that everyone is doing well.  I look forward to more updates. :cuddle;

Great news.  I'm bummed because my three pair transplant just fell through when they discovered a medical issue that rendered him in eligible to donate.  So I wish it were me but nonetheless I am really pleased for you.
