"There Is No Place Like Home!"

« on: April 21, 2012, 05:46:01 PM »

"T.G.I.S." instead of Thank God its Fridays, in my case, Thank God its Saturday.  Folks, since going back full time for 2 weeks now, I am literally drained. Working 7:00 to 6:00 Tues thru Sat and coming home to care for my husband is really taking a toll on me. I love them both, so please keep me in your prayers or thoughts!  Iam not willing to give up either of the two!

Sorry, but Im just too exhausted to post tonight!  Maybe after church tomorrow!  I believe MM asked about QOL issues, well I don't feel like I have much Quality left to be honest, but I shouldn't complain, so I won't!

God Bless,
lmunchkin

You have every right to complain!  You have a heavy load to carry.  I bet you are exhausted!  I am not good at following this advice, but, take time for you.  Stop and get a milkshake after work.  Take a long, good smelling bath.  Be good to yourself.  You know I will be praying for you to have the strength and endurance to keep on going.   Enjoy that time in church - that is my precious time.  I just let the whole hour swirl around me and recharge me.    Also sending you love.   :cuddle;

Also,    :thx;   thank you for caring - the note was greatly appreciated.  I am getting my head above water again.  And you will too.     :cuddle;

Oh lmunchkin, it sounds like your cup runneth over and is staining the rug!  LOL!  I don't think the occasional complaint posted here on IHD is a bad thing at all.  It's a blessing to have a community, even an online community, to whom you can look for understanding when you're feeling overwhelmed.

11 hour days, 5 days a week? That's too much, can't you work 8 hours days?

Awww, Munchie ... complain away!  I keep everything bottled up and only ever really let out how I'm feeling on this forum (or in my blog/s).  If I'd never found this place with all the support it offers I expect I'd be completely loopy by now!

Hopefully you'll get into a routine soon and it will become less exhausting as you get used to it.

Take care of yourself.
