I know we are from all over the world here on IHD. I think it great that all be brought together cuz we share the same experiences in life. it really does prove it is a small world after all! So her is my idea.. Lets post pics of our favorite places, cool pics of scenery or just from where your from. It will be like traveling around world and never leave the comfort of you own home. Hey save your the trouble of customs and plane tickets and hotel fees!  :2thumbsup;

To start off this is a pic from right outside my home in California

Let's see if I have done this right.

1.  Norfolk Lavender farm in England
2.  Olu Deniz, Turkey
3.  Ronda, Spain
4.  Saugatuck State Park, Michigan, USA

Travel has always been my passion, and I hope to venture out once again should I be lucky enough to get a transplant.

Next stop, Oz and NZ!

I have plenty more photos of places I have visited and have loved, but I can't post them all without this site crashing!  LOL!

(Ronda has a special place in my heart because we were able to take my mother along with us.  It was her first time on the Channel Tunnel, and just the other day, I was going through some of her things, and I came across her expired passport and her ticket from that Channel Tunnel journey.  She had saved it.  Gosh, that seems like a lifetime ago.)

Ooh! I have a few:

The first is Superstition Mountain in Arizona; this was the view from our front yard.
The second is Anna Maria Island in Florida.
The third is Cathedral Rock in Sedona, Arizona; it's where we got married.

I've got bunches more but they're from the 35mm days and I don't have them scanned in yet.

Why yes, Poppy, yes it is.  They provide a little minivan that will take you to the lavender fields that are not accessible by regular roads because the fields are actually on the Sandringham Estate (or adjacent to it, I don't quite remember).  The driver said that he often would see Prince Charles roaming about with his dogs.

Another pic...let's see if anyone knows where this might be located.  It was taken in 2006, and the view has not changed...

Anyone have a guess?

The last post above is a view from above Trunk Bay, USVI.  The first time we saw this it took our breath away, every time we make it back, this is our first stop on our way to Coral Bay...and you know...still takes out breath away...
