It's all me.

« on: March 11, 2012, 01:07:39 PM »

I have had headaches all week and found out my bp was high - 150/72 all week.
This morning I woke up with busted blood vessels in my left eye! It looks like someone punched me! It also hurts on that side of my head with a headache or when I use my eyes. I am going to call doctor first thing in the morning. My son said I should call today...is it that frantic? Should I be worrying? ??? ??? ???

I have trouble with low blood pressure and I get the odd burst blood vessel in an eye - once or twice a year.  I have trouble getting my BP up into the 100's and it still happens.

150 is not catastrophic, but it would be worth a checkup.

I've done more research online. The Symbicort inhlaer can cause BP to rise drastically. I have stopped it for two days and use my ProAir instead. The headache is subsiding. The broken blood vessel in my eye may be caused from the Aspirin I started taking along with the Symbicort inhaler...oh and the Lasix. Too many issues all rolled into one. I am watching the symptoms today to see if I should continue to worry. I bet if I wait a few more days my BP will have gone down. I may just go back to taking a smaller dose of Prednisone for my Asthma instead of the inhaler.
I am calling my doctor today but I doubt they will worry about it at all.
