I've been on dialysis for2 1/2 years In-center but just started Nx stage Home Hemo.  I hate Tampa general more than I hate dialysis for rejecting me.  But I'm not bitter about it.  I'm living my best life on HHD!

Hi Sandra,  I hope you get a kidney soon.  So, are you on a list somewhere?  Lots of support here and information.

So glad you joined.

Welcome Sandra.  Glad you joined and looking forward to hearing more about your D experiences.  There's a lot of folks here to share information as well.  Was Tampa General where you were getting your dialysis before moving to home hemo ?  Congratulations on making the transition and living your best life.  I live alone and am pre-dialysis,  so when my time comes,  I'll be doing nocturnal hemo at a center.   Again ... WELCOME.

Hi, Sandra!  To paraphrase someone wiser than I am, have a positive attitude and you'll have a joyful life, with or without dialysis.  All the best to you on your journey...

Welcome to IHD!

I'm glad you found NxStage! It made life on dialysis so much easier for us!

If Tampa General rejected you, why not try for another transplant center????

Best wishes,

Aleta

Hi & Welcome Sandra!  Did they give any reasons as to why they rejected you?  I know my husband was denied due to many other health issues.

Im glad you are doing NxStage.  Even though you have to do it more often, I think it is great, because you are cleaning your blood more often.  We are very pleased with this NxStage. We were not a fan of In-Center.

Again Welcome & God Bless,

Hi Sandra --- :welcomesign;      We started training on the NxStage this week.   Tell us more -  how many days a week do you dialyize ?  Have you had any big problems ?
