I'm  new of course &don't know what I'm doing. also I'm pretty blind from type 1diabetes for 37 yrs. started dialysis  march 2011.  I do hate it but keep making time goals to keep going.  I 've had a very rough year.  that's why this site interests me.

Hi, BriarRose.

 :welcomesign;

So what type of dialysis modality do you use? Are you on the list for transplant? You'll find much good information here, and kind support when you need it!

Welcome, BriarRose!

You've got me beat - I'm going on 29 years of Type 1.

If you get stuck on how to do something on the board, just ask - we'll help you figure it out.  There are several members with vision issues who might be able to offer you some tips on making things easier to read, too.

Hi there Briar Rose, and  :welcomesign; Do I know you from another site? One that focuses on Disney?
Hope you find lots of good information here, and look forward to hearing from you often.
