I am a new member in my 60's and my wife has been on centre based hemodialysis for a year and a half. It has been quite a medical and emotional roller-coaster and we are still learning. This type of forum is a great way to benefit from the experience of others. I have been looking at posts as a guest but have decided to join so that I could ask questions. We live in the province of New Brunswick in Canada.

Welcome to the board RAQ and thanks for becoming a member.  Your wife is lucky to have you as a caregiver and I'm sure many of us will learn much from you as well based on your year and a half of experience.  Lots of folks from Canada on this board.  Best of luck to you and your wife on this 'roller coaster'.

Hi RAQ and welcome to IHD.  I'm so glad you joined.  I like this board because you can lurk without becoming a member.  I'm sure we helps lots of lurkers also.

We have several members from Canada.  You will meet some I'm sure.
