Got the call from the financial coordinator late this afternoon that she had just heard from my primary insurance company that all had been approved. It's only taken them 6 freakin' weeks to figure out that between 3 medical insurance companies, the bill was going to get paid  :rant; now it's time to start looking at the 16 or so people that have indicated they will donate a kidney to me. We'll see how many of them follow through. Only need one....

That's fantastic news, Joe, and a wonderful way to end 2011!  Congratulations!

Wonderful news, Joe!  Congratulations!  :bandance;

Regarding potential donors, I found that a lot of people "offer", but few actually take the steps.  I gave anyone who "offered"   the name and number of my coordinator.  The ones who were serious called.

Good luck!  Keep us all informed of your donor progress!   :beer1;

That is great news and Avery large pool to start with. Your donor should be in there.
