We had a very "mini" meet of IHD in NY - we went to a really neat coal-fired pizza place - Angelo's - and the food was great!
We had a really nice visit - Zach is a great person and I am so happy I got to meet him in person!
Here's a photo of my friend Karen, her daughter Lindsay, my daughter Becca - and Zach.
Thank you Zach - dinner and company was wonderful!

i am a 51 year old male on dialysis for 3 years now. This is my second time. My brother donated a kidney to me about 13 years ago. I found this site on another site. I had to laugh when i saw what it was called. I hope to meet people from all over to talk about dialysis.

Okarol and I had a great time together.  She's as beautiful inside as she is outside.
And Angelo's Coal Oven Pizza is one of the best in the city.  Good food and good company.  What more can you ask for?

But where's the pic of Okarol???

Keefer - I am sorry I didn't get to meet you, or skillpete, or bluedove or jonnr. I think next year we have to do an EAST COAST meeting of IHD!

I think I deleted the photo...? hehehe
Zach, lucky we did that drive-by photo op - Epoman is happy, I am sure.

Its obvious that Zach is still doing so well after 25 years of dialysis because he takes an active role in his care, and he is always learning. I hope he continues to post info - we can all learn a lot from him!

You look great Zach. We can all learn from your experience on dialysis. You obviously manage dialysis and all the complications very well. You definitely don't have the "renal patient look". I have gained so much from your posts, for this I thank you.    ;)
Things don't always go the way we plan but we can try to control the mess.   :P
