Hi
« on: October 04, 2011, 02:13:42 PM »

Hi everyone . I have been dialyzing for 4 years. One year on PD and 3 years on home hemo with Nxstage.  I have just started nocturnal home hemodialysis.  I am glad to be trying this.  I am not really a candidate for transplant.  I have a full time job and I am very thankful to be well enough to do this. I look forward to meeting others on dialysis.

Thank you soooooo much for joining; I am heading toward dialysis and am hoping to eventually do nocturnal home hemo on NxStage.  I would be ever so grateful if you could tell us a lot more about your experience with this modality.  Has your clinic been suppportive of you?  Oh please, tell me more!  There is a forum for home/NxStage/nocturnal dialysis, and I hope you will go there and post more.

I hope you will find us to be supportive and entertaining!  Thanks again for joining!  I hope you are doing well.

Hi beneteau and welcome to IHD!   :welcomesign;  My hubby is also a NxStage user and we are considering "extended hours" with it here at home.  Glad you joined our community.

Hi, beneteau!  :welcomesign; I'm guessing you're a sailor?

Are you doing nocturnal on the NXstage or have you gone to a different machine for nocturnal? I do nocturnal on a Fresenius Baby K.

Hope you stick around; there aren't too many nocturnal folks here!
