Me with Baron von Fresenius

« on: October 24, 2011, 10:57:23 AM »

After almost four years of very heavy use, my old scooter finally died. I ended up going most of the summer without transportation because I'm no longer strong enough to ride my bicycle. But I was able to save up the money and I just got a new scooter. It's actually better then the last one. It runs very smoothly, and I can barely hear the sound of it. It also has a slightly larger frame, so I can stretch out a bit more and be more comfortable on long rides. Here's some pictures of it, and also some of how my old scooter looked by the time I "retired" it.

It is so much fun to ride a cycle. I am on my third bike now. I am thinking I might go with a trike if I dont think it safe for me to ride a two wheeler. I ride a Goldwing and love it.

oh goodness.... I absolutly love it!!  im a scooter fanatic i LOVE riding them.  Had a little honda when we were still in the mts... (as well as my horse of course) and then when we came to the city, my SOL bought hubby and i electric scooters for christmas.  He traveled far to find them and they were my favorite favorite ever.  They went about 40 mph on a nice flat road but we road all over on those.  We had a little club for a while and i wish i still had mine.  Congrats!  i am (i know its wrong but...) JEALOUS,,,, and very happy for you... ENJOY  :2thumbsup;

I've love to have something like that.. it would mean a little bit of independence for me, but I'd probably run people down with it.. *LOL*
