When I went up for evaluation at the University of Colorado Hospital, they told me I had 4 tests to get done before they would put me on the list. There was a vascular ultrasound, colonoscopy, and 2 cardio. I had done the colonsoscopy within 10 years, so the results were still good, got those sent up and didn't have to have another on  :bandance; Had the vascular surgeon do the ultrasound a week ago, and got a cardiologist on the team to do the rest. Wrapped up the stress test yesterday, and he had me wait for the results. He said all looks good, so he will send the clearance form to the transplant team.  :yahoo;

Now it's arranging to get volunteers tested to see if anyone is compatible with me. Here's hoping and praying one of them is a match and qualified to donate.

Isn't it a great feeling when all the testing is done for the year?!  Hopefully you can find a donor soon and so will not have to repeat the tests next year.

Outstanding Joe....so very glad to hear the good news.
I am a liver transplant recipient. 5 years now and have done great! Now to get a new kidney and I will be good to go. I haven't started my testing yet. What all do you have to do for the list in your area?  It seems its different from one location to another.

 :thumbup; I hope you're able to find a donor. Have any family members of friends offered?
