I am so glad to hear that. With all the problems you were having, it’s great that everything is pulling together so well. LONG LIVE PD! I was rooting for you all the way.I do my first PET test on Friday. I hope I my results come out as good as yours.Bill
That is super news! I do my first CCPD PET test next week. Hoping I'm somewhere as good as yours were.
Here are the results of my first PET test:High average membrane = which means the cycler is the best suited treatment modality for you because your membrane characteristics :- very efficient membrane-transports solutes quickly- increased glucose concentration- may have difficulty achieving ultrafiltration ( fluid removal ) especially on a long dwell ,being absorb by your body and that's where fluid gain comes in- at risk for low serum albumin.Apparently I’m filtering too good (a good thing?) because my phos went from 4.1 to 2.6, potassium is down to 3.3 and my albumin went from 5.1 to 3.6.Guess I’m going to have to stock up on more beer cheese and meat
My PET test is on Tuesday. Looking for a book to study up on it.
I don't know anything about PD, but congrats to you all! Outstanding!
Huzzah for rockin' membranes!!!
