I went to Lubbock today to the University Medical Center to get information the center has to offer.  UMC will do the testing & evaluation for The Methodist J.C. WALTER Jr  Transplant Center of Houston.  Approved candidates will go to Houston for transplants, then return to UMC for their continued transplant  followup.  My evaluation classes are Nov.7th  Lubbock is a two hour drive from my city

Good for you for getting started. It's a process to get listed but you'll get through it.

I, too, just started the process at UW Madison. I actually talked to the coordinator twice before but got scared and gave up. Since finding such love & support here on IHD, I'm determined to go through with it this time. Good Luck!
