Wow!  Six months went by rather quickly.  I have had my fair share of complications for an "ideal" transplant candidate, but it sure as heck beats the alternatives.  I am recovering from what I hope is my one and only cellular rejection episode (creatinine back to normal with today's bloodwork - knock on wood).  I guess I needed to experience all of the complications I have because having a preemptive transplant would have been just too easy, lol.  Looking back over the past 45 years of my life, I have pretty much always managed to do things the hard way anyway, so why stop now?  I sincerely hope all of you have a good day and I wish you all well on your own ckd/esrd/transplant journey.

P.S. I had my first post-transplant can of coca-cola today to celebrate :beer1; :beer1;  Still not getting used to being able to eat and drink things with potassium, phosphorus, calcium, salt, magnesium and protein.

THIS IS NOT A "JOURNEY"! :P

You'd just get bored if you had to do things the easy way.  LOL!

I'm glad you get to eat like a normal human being again.  Not only can you now eat foods with all of the minerals you mentioned, you now get to eat food with flavor!!  Yay!

 :bestwishes;
Congrats!

I think I'm going to stick with calling mine a kidneyversary, though.  Tranniversary just sounds to me too much like what Chastity/Chaz Bono celebrates now!    ;D
