CLAREMORE - From Wednesday through June 15, the Unwind Yarn Shop will be hosting a charity event to provide gloves for dialysis patients.
Some people on dialysis develop vascular access steal syndrome, which makes their hands cold. The goal for the knitting project is to create 100 pairs of fingerless gloves for patients at area dialysis centers.
Each person contributing a pair of gloves will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card and other prizes.
For more information, call the Unwind Yarn Shop at 918-342-9276.
