I saw my post transplant neph today.  Creatinine 1.1!!!   :2thumbsup;   He went over all other pertinent results and everything is all within normal range, including Prograf level.  He's just the sweetest doctor.  He gives me a hug and a kiss on he cheek saying "hello" and "good-bye".  I couldn't have gotten any luckier with my pre and post-op care.

I noticed in the lobby there was a flier for a "Pre-Dialysis" seminar with with Bobby Wager, RN.  It also said their will be "dialysis patients" speaking.  I think I'm going to attend and hopefully talk to Bobby (who've I've met briefly before) and see if we can't include Etta's Gift in the next seminar!!!  Super excited!

Well if I had a female doctor like that, I'd be a happy camper too  :-[
Although I'd be red most of the time if she did that  :rofl;

Good Luck with meeting with Bobby Wagner. :2thumbsup;

Thanks everyone!  @Chris, funny thing is, is this doctor is crazy looking.  Kindof hippi-ish.  lol  Wasn't sure I would like him in the beginning, but he gives great patient care.

He also said something that made me raise my eyebrowse.  He said that with such a great creatinine (consistently 1.1 to 1.2) this far along, this kidney should last me the rest of my life.  Obviously, not counting any unforseen illness, injury, infection, etc.    :2thumbsup;   That would make me very happy!   :)

Wow!! those are some great levels to be at when you received your kidney in 2008.  It would seem that the meds don't even affect your kidney at all,  sort of like a teflon kidney.  Having the doc tell you it should last you the rest of your life has to be like winning the lotto.
