I'm sticking with Daylight Savings Time

Even though Daylight Savings Time officially ended last weekend, I did NOT set my clocks back one hour.  I'm sticking with Daylight Savings Time--at least for my own personal habits and home.

I like the extra hour of daylight in the evening. 

I hate when you have to go back to Daylight Savings Time and you lose an hour of sleep that night.

So I'm keeping my internal clock where it was.  I would get out of bed at around 6:15 AM Eastern Daylight Time, and now I'm getting out of bed at the same time--5:15 AM Eastern Standard Time.  And so on.

Just move to Arizona. We don't observe DST here, except on the reservations.

Sounds good to me, I like it better that way. Just remember that your external clocks are off by an hour so that you dont miss appointments.

You really wouldn't like living in Alaska north of the Arctic Circle.
In wintertime, it's perpetual night--no daylight at all.

Today (14 November) in Barrow Alaska, the sun rose at 11:36 AM and set only three hours later at 2:47 PM.

Starting on November 21, Barrow will experience perpetual night--no daylight at all--till the spring.

They have the same thing in the summer, don't they? only it's the other way around... perpetual daylight... I'd like that, except for when it was sleep time.  I hate trying to go out after dark, cuz I really can't see a damn thing unless there's some good lights.  Although, I can't see on the really bright days either, cuz of glare.
