Just a quick hello.  My husband will be starting dialysis soon and I'm here for support and information.  Looks like a great site.  The kind that will give honest information.  Thank you.

Thank you everybody for your nice welcome!  I don't know how to answer each one directly.  I'm pretty much computer illiterate.

Oh yes, this IS a great place for support and information. Remember you are a caregiver and caregivers need much support. Welcome. Asky away with any questions you have or just want to say that the day is going great.

Welcome to the greatest place to go for support and knowledge..  I tell ya, and lots agree, it would have been a heck of a lot harder to get through  that first part, all on your own..  A wealth of knowledge here, so come in with lots of questions, and you'll get lots of support...    :welcomesign;    :flower;

IT IS NOT A JOURNEY!!!!! :rofl;

(This is my personal pet peeve; I hate hearing this kidney/dialysis crap a "journey".  It sounds like we're all guests on Oprah.)

But no matter what you choose to call this, welcome to the site; thank you for taking the time to come and introduce yourself.  I know we can be of help to you, so please use this site for as much support as you may need. :cuddle;

Hi Buffalogal and welcome to our group.  I also am a caregiver to my hubby and this site has been a lifesaver for me.  I hope you find it the same.   :welcomesign;
