Going through life tied to a chair!

« on: January 05, 2011, 04:43:35 PM »

Anyone live in Arkansas who has any idea why 5,000 birds dropped out of the sky dead?  Very interesting.  They were not poisined and only in a 1.5 square mile radius.

Could it be the result of the birds flying through a chemical cloud

which did not poisen them, but affected their respiratory system

and affected their heart?

It could be.  One report said they found blood clots in them.  Are we next?

I read this:
Commission ornithologist Karen Rowe said the birds showed physical trauma, and she speculated that "the flock could have been hit by lightning or high-altitude hail."
The commission also speculated that New Year's Eve revelers shooting off fireworks in the area could have startled the birds from their roost and caused them to die from stress
.
Another report said if they were startled at night they could have flown into each other in a panic. ?? hmmm sounds sorta possible.
or it's the end of civilization.  :rofl;

I love the fireworks theory.

Every July 5th there are millions of dead birds all over the US. :sarcasm;

Here in Jersey about a year or so ago we had over 5000 dead birds.  Govt. Officals gave
 many resons on how they may have died.  A few days later i quess they had to tell the truth.  They said they had poisened the bird to thin them out.  Or maybe that as well was just another way to cover up something else??  At least the people accepted that claim.
