My DH and I went to Pre-Admission testing today for Kidney Transplant this Thursday!   Looks like it is really going to happen!!

I will get a kidney from an altruistic donor from Chicago and DH will give to a man in Livingston NJ and the chain will go on from there.....

I am nervous and excited... tomorrow may be my last dialysis for a while..... :cheer:

 :yahoo;  Congrats!  I hope all goes smoothly for both you and your DH (and everyone else in your chain.)  An altruistic donor...  Amazing that there are people out there who are willing to give so much to someone they don't even know.  No more dialysis :2thumbsup;

Please keep us posted on your progress!
