What is a good safe exercise for someone who has had a kidney transplant? I wouldn't mind trying yoga but I read that yoga can boost your immune system....and I don't need that.

I went to the gym at my college a year after transplant and used all the equipment. Used the exercise bikes, exercise machines with weights, stomach crunch device (start of slowly to build up more reps), steps, treadmill. running, and walking the course we had through the woods around the campus. Of course since I had a transplant, I had to get doctors approval to show it was safe for me to do all that there. I was even bike riding around the campus.

You should be fine, but with any concerns, ask your tx center.
