Thinking of you both. I can't begin to imagine how all this would feel  - just reading about your troubles is worrying enough. Sending  :cuddle; and hopes that you turn a corner for the better soon.

Well, we are back home.  Hubby has a new graft in his right arm and a new WORKING catheter in his chest after some work with a balloon and a clot removed from the vein about 2 inches below the tip of the catheter.  He was kept overnight at the hospital in St Louis so they could run him in their dialysis unit to make sure the catheter was good.  So...here's hoping this ride goes pretty slow for a while now.   After 3 rounds of Sepsis, 3 catheters in 2 weeks, a failed fistula, and a new graft, he deserves a break.

After reading that list, I'm thinking your hubby is like a gladiator - coming through battle after battle. Hope he has now reached a cease fire area and has some time for rest and recuperation - and you, too. Crossing fingers, toes and eyes that this is so.
