Have you had you flu shot this year?    The medical professionals recommend we get one as dialysis patients are at risk.

I received mine on Tuesday.

I got mine. On the road all the time around many people in different parts of the country everyday it would be suicide to not get a flu shot for me.

My husband got his 2 weeks ago and I got mine a week ago.  I only got it because I am his care giver and I felt it was my responsibility to get protected for his sake.  I would never have got the shot for any other reason.  My mom got so sick one time getting it that I decided there was no way I would ever do it.  How things change  ;D

Yuppers, I got mine. I don't leave the house much but the hubby does and he's around people every day so I thought it best to protect myself and vice versa, he got it too.

I got my flu shot at my dialysis center this year.

Last year, because of the delays caused by the H1N1 scare, I had to go to Walgreens Pharmacy to get my flu shot.

I can ..but have never had a flu shot and this year even more so because they have combined it with the swine flu one. I personally dont feel enough is known about this vaccination and feel it was a rush job to get out.

I got mine last week..

And, Kickstart, I read somewhere that variations of the swine flu vaccine have been around since the 70s.. not sure how true that is, though... I think it was much more rushed last year than this year

I got mine 2 weeks ago this Tuesday and I have had mild diarrhea, nausea, aching, jumping joints ever since.  I just want to crawl out of my skin sometimes.

KS, I am glad I am not the only one who thinks this. We have chosen not to have it for the same reason.

The risk to chronically ill patients is higher if they get the flu. That's what the Center for Disease Control says.
