You may have seen that Ang added his name to out list of members who have received transplants! Here's a little more info:

tx  4 sept about 10pm
female kidney
just out of hospital after a week, still sore, long road ahead
creatinine 190/210
about 2ltr extra fluid very uncomfortable in a 5ft body
ask the questions, i'll try get the answers no more info

My note:

Congrats!! Ang, I am so happy for you!
Maybe they need to give you a diuretic to get rid of fluid.
What is normal creatinine for AU? Numbers are different here.
Do you have help at home? Do you go to the clinic 3 times a week?
Keep drinking water - it will help.

His response:

don't know the difference with  the  numbers (creat) but before it  was 1200 at the worst, now 190/210, no help at home the boss  does it all, hope after time , it'll come back to me how to do housework LOL
0800 every morning for a month for blood test if all  good  they wind it back to fortnightly/monthly etc  etc, they gave me like diuretics in hosp, they worked but they want you 2 kg over your base weight to keep the kidney flushed, 86kg into 5 feet height can be uncomfortable

Wondering how long Ang was on the list waiting? Yes, asking for selfish reasons. I have a feeling it was only a couple of years? (if so - awesome!).

Hope you're doing better today (whenever you read this) mate!

Not sure how long he waited. Ang joined IHD early in 2007 and I am pretty sure he was already on dialysis then. Hope he comes back soon and tells us more!
