 :yahoo;  i'm so excited for you, and maybe just a tad bit jealous. i'm excited for every transplant, but somehow this one just seems different. i'm sure it's because we got to meet and spend time together in vegas and because you were my first secret santa when i joined ihd. god has truly blessed both of us.

Hey all!

Mom is all settled in and doing GREAT!  Her pain level is not terrible and she has been resting well -- Her recovery seems to be going smoothly so far!

She wanted me to tell you her input/output levels today (we're very proud of her pee!  :P)

From 9am-9pm she had 86oz. input and 92 oz output!  Yay bean!   :clap;

Today was move day for me - so all my stuff is in my new house except for me :)  I am (very happily) sleeping in the guest room!

Have a great night guys -- more updates to come tomorrow!

Aloha,
Beth

I'm thinking about you both every day Paris and Beth. Once the initial shock wears off, I can promise you that every day will seem like it is surreal for quite a while.  It has been almost two years for me, and I am just now starting to feel settled.

So, just take one day at a time and don't push yourself.  Take deep breaths and understand that this is a new chapter in the journey.  Sometimes there is no rhyme nor reason, but everyday, I hope you are feeling stronger and the dark fog of 15% GFR that you have been walking around in for years (I TOLD YOU SO!) will lighten more and more.

The same for you Beth, the worrying will never stop, now you just have something new to worry about, but it will be so much easier to see that your mother has a more than fighting chance at a terrific, mostly needle free  - future.

All my love,

Anna

Paris, I am so happy for you and your family. Day by day, month by month it gets better and better. If you feel great now, you will feel amazing down the road. Love you and get plenty of rest.  :grouphug;
