I was watching ESPN this evening, and they presented their usual "Top 10 Plays of the Day."  Number 8 was from the Transplant Games being held in Wisconsin.  They showed a little girl...maybe about 4 years old...running a race.  I was so surprised to hear mention of the Transplant Games on ESPN!  I thought it was very nice.  They mentioned that it was organized by the NKF; I hope lots of sports fans saw it and starting thinking about live donation.  Wouldn't that be grand?

I was at the games and they were amazing! I wasn't allowed to compete this time around cause you have to wait 8 months after a transplant and I was only at 4. It was so encouraging to talk to people there, both caregivers, sig others and dialysis and transplant recips.

Pictures to come soon.
