so after the holidays I came in weighing in a tiny bit more then I usually do, so the tech said well we need to take 5 kelos off today, now those of you that have read my posts know that I have a standing order do to urination that says do not remove any fluid, I told the tech well have the nurse assess me, she asked have you had any heavy feeling? I said no and I don't notice any swelling, do you? No I don't but we'll have the nurse check and see what she says, the nurse never came and a bit into treatment I started to feel it so immediatly I told the tech to give me a whole bag of saline and turn the uf to minimum which he did, but the fact is if there's a standing order in the first place to not pull fluid other then what you need to clean the blood, then don't do it! I'd think I'd know if I retained fluid not you when you couldn't even send the nurse over to check, it's my body and don't mess with it unless I :rant; freekin tell ya! and the whole bag of saline didn't even fully rehydrate me!
