I changed my name because of my obsession with Dragons! As you all know, I am a 32 year od (33 on July 13th)woman who was on in-center hemodialysis for 3 years. What you don't know is that I received a cadaveric kidney transplant on March 31st and am doing very, very well with only 8 lbs of weight gain so far. My creatinine is 1.3 (down from 9.0 on dialysis) and my BUN is 27 (down from 45 on dialysis).  Now I have to go add myself to the "Members who received transplants" list. Thanks for letting me rant all these years!! You'll see more of me here!

Congratulations on your transplant Little Dragon (Dragonette) and long may it last.  I was 31 when I had my first one and got 23 wonderful years of renewed living from it.
Look after it, relish every moment and grab some dreams while you're at it.
Welcome back to IHD and hope to see you around here.   :flower;

Thanks all! Yeah, he's doing fine. Me? I've gained 13 lbs (not good, overweight to begin with.) and trying like the  >:D  to get it off. Yay me. :( But I am grateful. A big "RAWRRR!" to you all as well.
