Hi Jason and welcome.  What a handful two young daughters can be, I admire you for taking on the responsibility.  Read the section on Home Dialysis for a lot of good info on PD, and of course, ask questions as you need to.  Lots of great folks on IHD that will gladly help you in any way they can.  :welcomesign;

Welcome to our community, Jason from Jackson (just couldn't resist!)  Glad to have you with us.  This is just the place for you to be.  It was a godsend to me when I was starting dialysis. There is a section particularly for PD.  I know nothing about this as only HD is offered in my territory (British Virgin Islands).  But there is lots of information and support here.  Just see us as your online family :grouphug;  Keep reading and keep posting.

Welcome to the site Jason.  I did PD for a while but it didn't work for me.  I had a lot of problems.  So ask all the questions you want, we will answer.  You will have to wait a few weeks after the cath is placed before you start using it so you have quite a bit of time to learn all you need to know.  What caused your kidneys to fail?
