Have u ever had a tech who insists m pushin that damn needle in and out 10x almost like she is havin a contest with herself that she will get it! Knowin if she cant.shes suppose to get another tech to try? But no. And then boom! Infultration! Hurts to! And u get so mad cause u know she went to far! And people u have a right to ask,demand another tech if the 1st cant get in your needle.

ive had that happen, then they give u a guilt trip if u ask for someone else lol

Yeah like u hurt their feelings or something! While your arm is blown up and bruised cause the tech is to stubborn to get help!

That's funny, Gregory was just telling me a story like that in the car tonight.  He remembered a doctor who couldn't get an injection into his arm and wouldn't let Gregory do it himself.  Gregory said, look, you're just bruising my arm, so here are your choices:  either you let me do it, or you knock me out, or I go home.  The doctor said, no no, you are the patient, I am the doctor, I know what I am doing.  Gregory said yes, but its my arm, and I know where the vein is, and you aren't getting anywhere near it.  They knocked him out.  The next time he saw his neph, she said that the doctor had told her G was aggressive, and she said the doctor wasn't impressed.  "I wasn't impressed with him either" said Gregory.

I had a tech who, on the 6th stab I told her to stop. She still does not like hooking me up even though I stick myself now.  She needs to get over it.
