If roses grow in heaven Lord pick a bunch for me. Place them in my Mother's arms, tell her they're from me.Tell her that I love & miss her & when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek & hold her for a while. Because remembering her is easy I do it everyday, there's an ache within my heart that will never go a...way. Happy Mother's Day in Heaven I love & miss you every single day! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

Happy Mothers Day to all the Moms , may your day be wonderful.

Happy Mothers Day!!

BEFORE I WAS A MOM
I never tripped over toys
or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not
my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.

Before I was a Mom,
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom,
I never held down a screaming child
so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night
watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mom,
I never held a sleeping baby just because
I didn't want to put her down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces
when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small
could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom,
I didn't know the feeling of
having my heart outside my body..
I didn't know how special it could feel
to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond
between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small
could make me feel so important and happy.

Before I was a Mom,
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night
every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth,
The joy, The love, The heartache,  The wonderment
Or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom

THE IMAGES OF MOM

4 YEARS OF AGE - My Mommy can do anything!

8 YEARS OF AGE - My Mom knows a lot! A whole lot!

12 YEARS OF AGE - My Mother doesn't know everything!

14YEARS OF AGE - My Mother? She wouldn't have a clue.
                                                .
16 YEARS OF AGE - Mother? She's so five minutes ago.

18 YEARS OF AGE - That old woman? She's way out of date!

25 YEARS OF AGE - Well, she might know a little bit about it!

35 YEARS OF AGE - Before we decide, let's get Mom's opinion.

45 YEARS OF AGE - Wonder what Mom would have thought about it?

50 YEARS OF AGE - Wish I could talk it over with Mom.

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure shecarries, or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes,
Because that is the doorway to her heart,
The place where love resides.
The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole,
But true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul.
It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she
Shows, and the beauty of a woman with passing years only grows!

I sent my Mother in Law flowers and Christy also. We lost Christys Brother last week so it must have been a tough Mothers Day for my Mother in Law. She is 86 I think.

It was a wonderful Mother's Day.  The kids and grandkids came and we were all together, laughing and playing.  I hope all the Mothers out in IHDland had as fine a day as I did.

Sluff, I am so very sorry to hear about Christy's brother.  Please give her my sympathy.

We had a nice day.  The men in the family grilled and had a lovely lunch for all of us Mom's.  It was relaxing, stressfree, and fun. I would much rather do that than even think of going to a restaurant.  It was a really good day.

Hope everyone had a day filled with love.

I'm with Rerun, I love this, too.  I still miss my Mom and she has been gone 19 years. :(

Hope everyone had a nice day.

Love, Mimi
