Yep that's My work cat. She pretty much stays under my desk all day where she has a nice comfy bed. She is a counrty cat and likes to catch all the mice, lizards, snakes, birds, and rabbits that cross her eye sight. I am not sure how old she is, the vet thinks about 10 years old, heres another pic with her and a lizard she caught.

Who caught who?
We have some ferals/strays at one of my field offices. From time to time we have brought one in to socialize it. Having them in the office sure does brighten up the place. Even having them outside well fed and doing their cat things in the sun is nice.
How did you manage to have a work cat?

What a gorgeous cat!!!! Ferals make the best pets ever. I had one for 16 years named Sam and he was the most fantastic animal. Actually came when he was whistled for and took a nap with me every time I took one.

How we got the cat is interesting, I think it would go "she got us". When we were building the shop she was allready on the land. The guys who were putting it up just kept feeding her a little bit each day untill she became freindly with us, so we gave her a name, took her to the vet to get fixed, gave her a bed, and the rest is history.

What is amazing to me is the colour of the lizard. Is that the normal colour? Over here lizard are always green or brown. Only the night house lizards are kind of pink, but more transparent than pink.
[BTW, the spellcheck is telling me that I spelled colour wrong!]

Okay Bajanne let me explain that lizard...lol. That little lizard is no stranger to Oilslick she has caught that lizard several times, the firts time she got him I colored him red for the simple fact that she only plays with them and than they run away, So we got the idea to give him a marking and all be damn if it did'nt work a week later she caught him again. So that is not a normal color of a califonia lizard.
