Going through life tied to a chair!

« Reply #3 on: April 02, 2010, 08:03:08 PM »

Hi P.L.M, I am so glad you decided to check us out.  We have a few other young members.  Too bad you have to be in this group.  I was only 24 when I had my first dialysis and now I'm almost 49.  Too young to live such a restricted life.

Check out the off topic thread.  Pretty funny stuff in there.

G'day & Welcome Samantha - do you ever get called a hopeless romantic? ok, bad pun there.

So sorry you're having to deal with dialysis and kidney failure at such a young age when you should be living your life, school, boyfriends, and all that!

Hopefully we won't be too confusing here and can help you in your journey. We have a few younger members here who I think could really help you out - or at the least get some new mates!

:welcomesign; Samantha! Not too much to be confused about here - tell us whatever you like about yourself and your dialysis, have a good look through the various posts  (I bet you find some interesting stuff!), ask all the questions you want, and relax and have a bit of fun. We're all in the same boat! It's good to have you here.

I love your name, Samantha! I'm 17, so I'm one of the younger people they're talking about. Feel free to email me anytime at: cheeseylicious@yahoo.com I would love to talk to someone my age, on dialysis. :)
