Hello, Have not updated on my pd since training. I am now into my 3rd week at home. So far not to bad. Not sure if I am getting proper treatment though. I don't feel totallly as well as I did on hemo. Figured it might take a minute to level out. Also my exit site is bothersome. Where it is located my pants tend to rub the area. Today I noticed dryed blood around the catherter. Called pd nurse because I was worried about infection. She did not seem concerned. Felt it was just irratation. Also having trouble trying to decide what strenght of solution to use each night. Pd nurse says they like the total uf to be over 750. When I use all 1.5 bags i get a UF under that, but if I use 2- 1.5 bags and a 2.5 I get a high Uf around 1100 or more. Won't know if everything is working right till march after they do the pet test in feburary. The amount of trash is enormous to with boxes and setup stuff. But all and all I guess its better than needles.
