Today I got a Medicaid card in the mail - it was perfect timing as my doctor prescribed Hecterol last week and it costs $232 or 12 pills - yikes!  These prescriptions can really cripple you if you don't have insurance!

True enough.  Yesterday I was having chest pains and I knew it was nothing but I wasn't sure - LOL!  Knowing I had insurance was the extra push I needed to get checked out.  As it turns out, my heart is fine and maybe related to stomach issues?  WHo knows.  My stomach feels fine but maybe all these diet changes have something to do with it.  I know stress can too.

Double check with your pharmacist.  The letter that came with my Medicaid card said my account was active as of Nov. 1.  I got the card at the end of December - but the computer system wouldn't let me use it until Jan. 1!
