I made this video to send to one of my wifes friends in Japan. I think its funny.. most of the times he's dancing in the video there is NO music in the background.. He just does this spontaneously ... heh

DAMN MAN, that was FREAKING AWESOME, I love the use of pictures and video clips, and the layers. Also the editing was timed perfect. I loved the whole thing. Damn, now you got me on a mission to pull out my dozens of MiniDV tapes of my son and put a video together, I literally have dozens.

What program did you use to create that? Premiere, VideoStudio, Ulead, a different one? I have messed around with those three but I am interested to know what you use.

BTW, your son is very lucky to have such an awesome dad. Isn't it great being a DAD!  :thumbup;

Thanks for sharing the video.  :thumbup;

I used a very basic program. The Windows movie maker believe it or not.. I like nero the nero movie maker better, but the windows one was the only one i had loaded to this program. It has many limitations that you can get around with some good editing.

GOOD LUCk and I'm looking forward to your post. Its fun putting them together and seeing the final outcome. I have about 8 homemade video's made. Thats the only one I posted though.

The others are mostly for my wife for special occasions. I might post another if I get enough push. heh

You know I never even bothered to even load Windows Movie Maker.  :o I though it would be to simple, but I will give it a try. Sometimes VideoStudio is to bloated.

Jaybird, I loved your video!  Your son is adorable --and I have 7 grandbabies, so I know cute!!! You have a nice family and I know you are proud of them.  Raising children is the most rewarding thing we can ever do. I have loved every minute of it --and I loved the teenage years!!

PUSH
PUSH
PUSH
PUSH
PUSH
PUSH
PUSH

Is that enough?  >:D ;)

BTW, I loaded up "Windows Movie Maker" for the first time and I was impressed it's not bad for a free program, I fiqured out how you did all the effects, it took me a moment to fiqure out the spaced A,B,C scrolling but I relized you just put a few spaces. :-[

For example

A
  B
    C

But I didn't figure how you added the moving "Musical Note" when your son is playing on his toy piano. Also one thing I don't like is not being able to adjust the speed of the transitions on the "fly" you have to set it before you add the new transistions or clips, is that right or am I missing something.
