Bloated

Been on CAPD for three days now. Continually feel like that I have eaten a Xmas dinner. Feel full without having had anything to eat, also nauseous and vomiting. Bags are clear and bowels OK. Is this just getting used to the fluid in my tummy or something more sinister?

it takes a while to get used to the fluid. But I'd be concerned about the vomiting. Sometimes that can mean your taking off too much fluid - or your goal weight is too low. Have you talked to your renal team? Can you get your blood pressure checked somewhere - if it's low you're too low on fluid. Hang in there - you do get used to it.

Changed to CAPD in April 2008. Now on PD with a cycler. Working very part time - teaching music. Love it. Husband is Paul (we're both 46), daughter Molly is 13.
