I have 16 hats, all the same style!

Abouit 4 years ago I majoryly renovated my home, including completely gutting the kitchen and starting from the ground up.  I purchased most of the kitchen stuff at Contractor's Warehouse, and joined their club which gave me back a percentage via check.  Well, when the first check came I was so busy with the house that I didn't deposit it until 4-5 months later.  Their bank returned it as outdated and I figured heck, it was free money, so being the lazy person I am, I just shredded it and forgot about it.

A few months back I received a letter that mentioned the check and gave me an email to write and a number to call.  I did both and nothing.  No return email; no return phone call.  So, I wrote a letter to the president of the company, enclosed a copy of their letter and my email and said basically, why did you send me the letter if you had no intention of following up on it?

Yesterday I received a check in the mail from these folks.  No letter, no note, no explanation.  Needless to say, it's on its way to the bank!  There is, however, a part of me that wants so badly to write another letter to the president of the company and tell him that I realize now that their lack of communication starts with him!  A simple note with something like well, doggone if you ain't right little lady, and we apologize for the rudeness of our bank . :rofl;
