I love that show, and I hate it at the same time because the hour goes by too quickly.  I think it's one of the best series I've ever seen.  I already own Season 1, and I'm asking for Season 2 for Christmas.

Anyone else addicted?

Nope - Sorry, I had to choose and "Desparate Housewives" won!

Yes, I'm addicted to "Lost", and "Desperate Housewives", the only two shows I NEVER miss.

I was so angry and disappointed that they killed off Eko -- he was a great addition to the cast.  On the other hand, it does lend to the belief that they will kill off important characters -- Shannon and Boone, and now Eko.  But, IMO, that was a waste of a great actor and a well developed multifaceted character.  I like Charlie, Claire, and Bernard but, IMO, any of them would have been less of a loss as far as the plot lines and the quality of the cast.  If they think the two new "pretty" characters they introduced are going to replace Eko, I believe they are grossly mistaken.

I hate that they used the "Smoke Monster" -- too SciFi for me.  I suspect the show creators are using it as a metaphorical Devil -- another play on the light/dark, black/white, good/evil theme.  An unrepentant sinner lost from God by choice and taken by the Devil.  Though I personally did not see Eko as a "bad man" and agree with his assertion that he did the best he could with what he was given.

Uh-oh, you got me started on "Lost". :lol;

Yeah, I was wondering if they were trying to do something with good/evil since Eko saw a dark shadow and John saw a bright light.  I'm still dying to find out what the Others are doing on the island, how they contact the rest of the world, etc.

They have to have a huge network to get a complete dossier on Jack and his ex-wife.  Have they bothered to, or been able to get the same complete info on all of the Losties?

If they have such contact with the outside world, why is all of the computer equipment so out of date?

Do you think Ben was lying when he told Jack that he had been on the island all of his life?

What do you think happened to Kate when she was with Ben that the cuffs left bruises and broken skin?

I have no idea to any of that. LOL.  As far as Kate and the handcuffs, I guess I figured she was struggling when they brought her to their little village.  I didn't notice it happening after she was with Ben.

... I didn't notice it happening after she was with Ben.

When she went to eat w/ Ben on the beach her wrists were fine.  He asked her to put on the cuffs before she started to eat because she would be using eating utensils.  Next scene, when she was brought to the cage, her wrists were bloody and bruised.  The guy putting her in the cage said something like, "He was pretty hard on you with those cuffs, huh?"  I want to know what happened!  I think she tried to kill Ben, but why?
