Hi,
I'm Carol, from Cape Coral Florida. I am 46, and next year will be 25 years on this trip.
Here's my basic history:
-Diagnosed with SLE (Lupus) @ 22
-Began Dialysis (CAPD) @ 25
-Transferred to Hemodialysis @ 36
-2 unsuccessful transplants (waiting for #3 at the moment)
Obviously, alot more happened in between. Some I'd like to remember, and alot I'd
like to forget. But it's all good. I'm sure I'll have a chance to express it all on these
boards. Thanks for that!

Hi Carol and welcome to our site.  You have been dealing with this for a long time.  There are other veterans here as well.  I've been dealing with this for about 20 years.  Twenty years too long!  Hope you add your comments to our already large array of posts.
