...they were wrapping up my surgery.  I believe they said it was all said and done by 1:00 p.m. and by the time I was closed up and cleaned up I was in the ICU by 2 p.m.  The first thing I thought about this morning when I opened my eyes and saw the time (7 a.m.) was that last year at that time my sister-in-law (donor) was already in surgery.  One year later and we both are doing well.  I see my post transplant doctor on Tuesday.  I pray everything continues to do well.

Thank you!  No I didn't receive a card today from you, but I got one from Paris and Charee!    So sweet!  Thanks y'all!!!

I talked to my sis-in-law today and she didn't mention any cards.  So I'm GUESSING she hasn't checked her mail in a few days OR her son got the mail and she just hasn't seen it yet.   :)

Happy one year anniversary!    I got to know Charles a little that day, because I kept emailing him and he would let me know how you were.  I felt like a nervous parent pacing the floor.  We are so glad Irene gave you this second chance. We love her for her generosity.  And we love you very much!    :cuddle;
