Started peritoneal dialysis in Jan 2006 and have started having problems with my parathyroid recently. Thought I would try and connect with other patients to see if they too were  having problems in this area.

Welcome bostonian993, glad to have you here.  I haven't started dialysis yet, but I will be doing PD when I do.  We have lots of people who are on PD though, and there's a lot of information about parathyroid issues, I'm sure someone can answer your questions. :welcomesign;

Welcome Bostonian! I was on PD and had to have my Parathyroids removed when my PTH levels were too high. Now I guess there is medication so you don't always have to go that route anymore!

Anyway, welcome to the site!!  :welcomesign;

Hi Boston, glad you found us.  I guess you are from "Boston" but how old are you and please indicate in your profile what your gender is.  This forum is a great place to learn the "little" things about dialysis.
