Today they gave us the change in schedual since the unit will be closed Thanksgiving.
My nirmal schedual is M W F.
Next week it is Sun, Tues, Fri.
Is that the norm?

We have to dialyze on Thanksgiving.  So I get off at 11:30 am.  Ruins the day for me.

Clinics are half and half for rescheduling.  The Filipino workers could care less about Thanksgiving.  They would rather work it and get double time.  (They TOLD me this)

We are closed Christmas and have to reschedule that week.

Gawd Rerun... By the time you get home, and have a nap (if you're anything like Mum, you'll need a few hours sleep post dialysis), the day is pretty well gone...

It's pretty similar here...

When Mum was on haemo, her dialysis day fell on Christmas Day... She was switched to Christmas Eve....

Schedule changes are the norm for most places I have been for Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

I guess I won't complain! I'd rather go Sun. and have all day Thursday free.

My center is open but I requested Saturday instead of Friday.  I was the 1st person to put in the request so they say I will get it.

They just handed out a holiday schedule today for Christmas and New Years Day as they both fall on a Friday.  We are to come in at our normal time on Saturday instead.
