Since the Budget has not been passed in our state yet. Members of the National Guard from our state that are overseas are not getting their monthly stipend checks. I think this is a disgrace. Bad enough none of the workers are gettting paid. But our National Guard is getting screwed too! These people are defending us and are putting their lives on the line.

Romona, that does suck. We bitch about Maryland but I'm glad I don't live in PA.  :waving;

I heard on the news last week that PA, Connecticut and North Carolina are the only three states that aren't operating with a budget.  It is effecting so many people.  No paychecks, hiring freezes, furloughs.  Stop the budget committees paychecks and turn off the airconditioning and allow no food in the state house.  It is a stupid situation.

I just can't believe we are still waiting for pay days. There are people that haven't been paid since the last week of June.

I think Zinbabwe sounds good! I just can't afford the air fare.  :rofl;
