Hi my name is Robin and I am from Schuylkill Haven Pennsylvania. I started at my clinic on September 26,2008. I started out on 3rd shift on Monday - Wednesday- Friday and then switched to Tuesday- Thursday- Saturday on 2 nd shift. Now I am on 1st shift on Tuesday- Thursday- Saturday. My clinic is the BMA of Pottsville. Well I came to this after a long road. I was diagnosed with kidney problems on June 12, 1970 and from that time I had many operations , had my right kidney removed cus it was dead in 1980 and a kidney transplant October 26, 2000 and it died cus the Dr that was watching me wasn't doing his job and I rejected 60 % of the kidney and it was down hill till it died in September.I know I will be on dialysis till I die cus they found out not to long ago I have cancer and might have cancer on my other side. I also have a heart condition. My kidney condition is from my dad filling car batteries with lead and when my parents made me it got in me. I know its rare, my old nephrologist did some research and I am the last one remaining from the battery plant that has the illness.

Hello Robin glad you found us here at IHD.
Interesting story about the whole battery plant. Sorry you have to be one of the people who have to suffer the side effects.
But glad you found your way here.
See you around the boards
