Hi Guys!  I have been on PD(Baxter) since March 2007, with time out on hemo for a change of tube, due to pseudomonas.  Saw my Neph yesterday and he is not pleased with my clearances, especially creatinine and urea, also high PTH, even on Sensipar.  Anyway, he wants me to do hemo one day a week as well as my pd,claiming it should improve the creatinine which is about 1000 and urea 26.2 Has anyone else been told this is necessary?  We have a motorhome and like to treavel and this will sure slow us down, but if it is necessary, I guess I will have to do it.

I've never heard of it over here (NZ) I'll ask my renal team next time I talk to them.  Hope it's only temporary if they do.
